Terms of Service

The service

FurBuddy is a record-keeping tool that lets you track your pets and the care events that happen to them: vet visits, medications, vaccinations, grooming, weight, and similar. It is a personal organizer, not a veterinary service.

Not veterinary advice

FurBuddy does not provide veterinary, medical, or emergency advice.

Information you log or see in the app, including due dates, reminders, and any content we may show you, is for your own record-keeping and is not a substitute for professional veterinary care. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for questions about your pet’s health, and contact a veterinary emergency service immediately if your pet needs urgent care.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account, and you’re responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you think your account has been accessed without your permission.

Pricing

FurBuddy is currently free to use. To keep improving the Service and continue supporting pet parents, we may introduce subscription or paid plans for some or all features in the future. If we do, we’ll give you advance notice before any change takes effect, and you’ll always have the choice to accept the new plan or stop using the affected features.

Your content

You own the pet profiles, photos, notes, and files you add to FurBuddy (“your content”). By adding it, you give us permission to store, back up, and display it back to you as part of running the Service. We won’t use your content for anything else, and you can delete it at any time.

You’re responsible for the content you add. Please only upload photos and files you have the right to use.

Acceptable use

Please don’t use FurBuddy to upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing content, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or access other users’ accounts or data without permission.

Push notifications

If you enable push notifications, we’ll use them to let you know about things like upcoming or overdue activities for your pets. You can turn these off at any time in your device settings.

Termination

You can stop using FurBuddy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for anyone who violates these Terms.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

FurBuddy is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FurBuddy isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any harm resulting from missed or inaccurate reminders. FurBuddy is a personal record-keeping aid, not a guarantee that any care event will be logged, remembered, or delivered on time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use FurBuddy after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
